Subject of the proceeding: Activity of an 'interception staff', which,
during the final weeks of the war, had to deliver dispersed or deserted
soldiers, who had been captured by the Field Gendarmerie, to front units.
Chaired by the defendant Bähr, the court martial imposed at least 56 death
sentences, which were confirmed by the defendant Helm as Chief Justice and head
of the interception staff and thereupon executed [see also JuNSV
