Subject of the proceeding: Following a bombing attack upon Nauroth an American airman parachuted to earth from his disabled plance, landing in a wooded area. A crowd of civilians gathered, the flyer was captured and assaults made on him. Later, he was turned over to the accused, who marched him along a road where he was shot and killed (allegedly on orders of Kreisleiter and Reich Defense Commissionar Koch, see also US177)
