Subject of the proceeding: The accused, a district leader of the Gendarmerie Strasbourg and a Kreis leader of the Gendarmerie Wolfisheim, arrested an American flyer, who had parachuted from his disabled plane near Kolbsheim (France) and who had been given shelter by a French family. Acting on a general order by his superiors, Isenmann informed the Strasbourg Gestapo or SS and turned the American POW over to them to be shot. The next day the body of the American flyer was found in the woods near Wolfisheim.
