Subject of the proceeding: An American airman was taken to a police station in the village of Appen-Etz. On orders of the NSDAP Kreisleitung the police transferred custody to the accused, who took the flyer to a remote area just outside the village, shot him in the neck and left him for dead. The airman died the next day in a Hamburg hospital
